Approach:
Demand Chain leveraged Salesforce Community Cloud, defining a portal for local businesses license registrations. Data related to licensing applications was centralized in Salesforce, utilizing standard objects. Solution design enabled historical data tracking for core Salesforce based reporting and external data analysis processes. Online pay solution was incorporated into the license registration portal for one-stop service. Lightning design focused on providing local business owners and their employees/partners access to Salesforce for centralized licensing needs, profile maintenance, and payment.
Result:
License registration data is validated in real-time, avoiding paper based errors / omissions, all while giving immediate feedback to applicants. Real-time profile and application alerts are immediately directed to agency staff, reducing manual investigation efforts. Expanded internal agency capabilities, allowing the team to leverage data in new ways, including predictive analytics.
