Fast CPQ Proof-of-Concept Demonstrates Potential
John Ryan is a marketing agency that designs and deploys retail store messaging systems. It operates digital signage networks in the U.S. and also offers application of multimedia and interactive technology to point-of-sale marketing.
CHALLENGE
A customer of John Ryan’s requested the ability to provide their client with a way to easily configure and order complex display sets for their branches. John Ryan engaged Demand Chain to create a proof of concept leveraging Revenue Cloud (CPQ) and Experience Cloud (Communities) to meet the request.
SOLUTION
Demand Chain worked with John Ryan to develop a proof-of-concept demo over the course of three weeks. The resulting demo showed how the client could leverage CPQ to display easily configurable product bundles to the user, while ensuring all required components of each bundle are accounted for. The solution featured:
- An Innovative approach to surface CPQ functionality to community users.
- Automatically created Bill of Materials based on user input, including all required component and accessory products
- Automated downstream processes to manage the creation of cases, activities, contracts and orders
- Customized Community to provide client limited visibility access to the status of their orders and open cases
RESULTS
John Ryan found the proof of concept to be invaluable in showcasing the potential of CPQ and Communities to their client and internal John Ryan leadership. Benefits:
